Misty Mountain Designs moving to wordpress...

One thing that never changes is change itself. There have been many changes in my life in the past several months. The most recent is the fact I am not going to school this semester. I am graduating with my bachelor of arts in Spanish. Then I will proceed to take classes at a local community college next semester and transfer to a university in Kentucky to finish the bachelor of science in Geology. The only real thing I'm bummed about is the fact I can't take any geology classes with the amazing professors at my current university.

Continuing with the theme of change however, I've decided to move my blog to wordpress. I want a blogging site that is easy to access from my phone, and that I can update when I don't have time to post from a desktop computer. Wordpress has this feature where I can transfer my old blog posts on here to the new one, so no old posts will be lost.

This is the current prototype http://mistymountaindesigns.wordpress.com/

I really like the app for wordpress installed on my phone and find it is friendlier for posting. I do not have to get on a laptop to edit the borders of my images for starters. I can also share more of my spontaneous photography as well.

Please visit the link above and tell me what you like about it so far. It is still a work in progress.

  1. So many exciting changes going on right now! Perhaps you should cast on for a "change" sweater, I did that when my partner broke up with me and it helped a great deal because it was something I had control over. Congrats on the first degree! Woo hoo! Also, I really like the new layout, but it is impossible to read the text with the background transparent.

  2. I like it! I didn't know wordpress was easier to blog on the go... that's good information. Congratulations on graduating, but Kentucky? That's so far away!
At least you'll be wearing those hand-knits in the winter ;)
